Now we are talking! This was my wotn in tonight’s blind tasting of six Spaniards. Expressive nose with hints of heat/alcohol, glue, herbs and spices, some rubber and oak, with hints of vanilla. On the palate this wine is full with lovely fat and oily deep dark fruit! Some oak shining thru, with vanilla, and alcohol/heat and nice chewy tannins. Modern, big and bold, power and wood. Still, nice balance, and with a few more years of cellaring, to even things out, this will be a killer Spaniard! Very good effort!

Judgment of Six Fours, France vs. Spain. Blind tasting. Twelve tasters. A blockbuster. Nose of coffee, chocolate, extracted black fruits and vanilla. Mouth fat, seductive, overfruity and well oaked. Efficient and magnificent for modern style lovers. A bit soft for burgundy amateur those who searching acidity despite everything. Buy if you like this style. Scratch off the horrible label. Tasters rates show two equal sides : the 12 and the 16 making finally a nice 14.6/20

Blind tasted. Strong aromas of coffee, alcohol and toffee. Tons of coffee on the palate, obviously from the new oak, and again the alcohol is powerful yet there is a mineral side that needs time to open up. Wait at least another 5-10 years for these overly strong primary flavors to subside.

Full body with a long finish. A classic ribera del duero.
