  • Bright golden yellow. This offers a broad spectrum of delicate and well defined nuances, leading to an overall delicate but assertive aromatic profile. Ripe apple, honeysuckle, vanilla, honey, butter, smoke intermingled with sage and rosemary notions. The palate is medium to full bodied, creamy and sumptuous, delivering depth leading to a long finish.

  • Popped and poured. Light yellow color lets me know from the start that there is no issue with Premox here. A bit on the ripe side as is typical with the vintage but maintains good precision of flavors and doesn't feel over the top. The flavor profile is mostly rock and mineral with stone fruit. I with I had bought more of these as this was quite enjoyable. This is on the early side of what should be at least a 10 year drinking window.
