Seems at peak. Heavy tobacco flavors, well integrated tannins. If this had fruit earlier, the fruit is there upon first opening but diminishes after a couple of hours. Enjoyable and drink up now

Screw cap; 14.5% alcohol. Deep un-evolved colour. The nose is dominated by spices and oak-derived aromas. The mouth is along the same lines, but somewhat better in that it has excellent acidity to balance the undoubted richness of the wine. There is a suggestion of sweetness in the finish, just short of crossing the line for me. Of all the over-the-top new world reds that have come my way, this is one of the wines that I tolerate best, provided that I am in the mood for that kind of slutty taste (no offense meant). Purity of fruit is not its strong suit, to put it mildly. Not a serious wine in any way, but good fun as far as it goes (exactly as the name suggests in fact). Not a repeat purchase though; my six bottles bought in a sale will suffice for the foreseeable future.

No detailed note, but I wish I had paid more attention. Truly delicious, but still young; decanted for a few hours but it needs at least 5 more years, perhaps significantly more. Great purple colour. Mixed red and black fruits with great complexity.

Drinking very well, rich but balanced. Tannins have softened and some complexity. Ready but will go longer.

Big wine with lots of new world fruit but still complex. Long finish, tannins super integrated now. Spice, mint, tea leaf, tobacco...great wine
