Magnum decanted for two hours. This is quite good showing black currant, poached plum, herbs and tobacco. Full bodied, lush and decadent, low to medium acidity with a long finish.

45+ minute decant. Dark red color. Tight nose of dark fruit. Tar, blackberries, and ample tannins on the palate. Green elements on the finish, which was unattractive. Seems past prime.

Awesome as always. I prefer this to the higher end Vineyard 29 wines. The age really helps shape and refine this. Very Bordeaux like, which is my style. Dark purple color. Blackberries and dark cherries. Medium depth. Medium plus finish. Great QPR at time of purchase.

When we popped and poured this I was not a fan it was kind of a hot mess. I had a glass and then sealed it up with the vacuvin for about 48 hours. What emerged at that point was supple, elegant, and balanced. Some round red fruit on the palate.
The lesson learned is it needed a bit of air. How much exactly seems to be the question. Last bottle for me so no more data points.
I suggest drinking up on this one, but give it a few minutes to find its legs out of the bottle.

Still drinking well. A good, not great, cab for the money.
