Light crimson in color. 14.5% ABV. Ripe red fruits and baking spices on the nose. Big, rich, fruit forward Pinot Noir. Flavors of brown sugar, black cherry, cola, cranberry and nutmeg. Tons of fruit left on a very long finish. Unabashedly New World in style. Drink over the next 2-3 years.
While having shed some of its youthful fruitiness, this is still a big, forward Sonoma PN with rich, dark red fruit, cola and sassafras, and some earth and black pepper. While not overly short, I was hoping for a longer finish and abit more complexity. Still, a top example of Sonoma PN.
