  Invecchiato 24 anni e sembra ancora un ragazzino. Al naso splendidamente profumato, frutta matura rossa e confettura, note speziate e terziari di legno tostato, pelle, cuoio, tabacco. Al palato conferma tutto, con struttura e corpo di eccezionale eleganza. Equilibrio perfetto, finezza e leggerezza insieme ad una austerità armoniosa impressionanti. Lunghissima persistenza. Uno spettacolo di forza aggraziata.

  Drinking beautifully right now. Very youthfull color and fruit. The nose had more mature notes. Balanced and with well-integrated tannins. Great chianti´that merits the 80 EUR pricetag

  Casual Wednesday at Chateau davyd. Pop and poured. Drank over 2.5 hours.
  Appearance is clear, deep intensity, ruby colour with garnet rim. Legs.
  Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of mushrooms, vegetal earth, black cherries, black tea leaves. Developed.
  On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (12.5%), smooth integrated medium+ tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of black cherries, sour red cherries, balsamic, leather, tomato leaf, dark earth. Long finish.
  Very good quality. No doubt a very good Chiantii Classico. But frankly, very overpriced, and rather disappointing given the high expectations. May have performed better 3-5 years ago. Time to drink up.
