Light golden in color with small bubbles. Nose of grapefruit, ripe pear and hint of lime, and of coz pain grille. In the mouth, very fine balance of acidity and sweetness, there is also good dose of mineral and spice, elegant finish which last. While the 1990 has more strength, this is more about finesse and tension.
Clean, clear, golden peach hue Brioche, grapefruit, hint of lime off the nose Subtle acidity, full body-round, rich, creamy, mousse, some nuttiness Medium (+) finish, minerality is there, lots of finesse
It's drinking well now; not sure if it will get much better....

(LOUIS ROEDERER CRISTAL) #1; Pierre Rovani says, "One of the finest Champagnes I have ever brought to my lips, the 1999 Cristal bursts from the glass with fresh hazelnut and apple scents. Elegant, deep, and silky-textured, this medium to full-bodied beauty is immensely concentrated, pure, packed with apple flavors, and astoundingly long in the finish.PR-98
(Cristal) This was tight, tight, tight. Beautiful fruit and minerality along with great cut on the palate. Not showing that much in the way of finesse right now but it will come with time. Easily the tightest young Cristal I have ever had.
