Pale yellow and though clear, almost has a dish-watery tint to it. Nose of oyster shells, minerals, and grass. Light medium body begins a bit flat, but picks up hefty minerality on mid-palate, carried by a fresh grassiness on the sides, then brings a light lime and applesauce fruit character. It is a refreshing and friendly wine, not as acidic as a Loire SB, but delivers above its price point. Nice and interesting stuff. 85-86

Pale straw in color. Petrol, citrus, wet stone, honey on the nose. Light-bodied, racy, medium plus acidity. Fruit subdued on the palate with streak of minerality coming to the fore as it warms in the glass. Testament to Saint Bris's close proximity to the Loire Valley.

An interesting style, one that seemed to balance the taut feel of Loire with the effusive flavors of New Zealand, this is light to medium bodied, with medium acidity, and relatively intense, well-defined flavors of kiwi, mango, lees, and stony minerals, finishing dry.
