Great wine! The nose was showing some age, but there was no brown edge. Notes of blueberry, earth and currant on the nose and palette. This was my last bottle and I plan on buying more. OC

A deep purple hued wine, with an effusive nose of blackberry, plum and earth tones. In the mouth, it’s big, plush, very rounded. Tastes of sweet fruits blackberries, plums, and hints of black currants. Really the antithesis of gnarly. It’s bold and vibrant with solid complexity. Over time, you get more earthiness, some meaty bacon notes, and the subtle oak tannins are a little more pronounced. The finish is lengthy with the primary blackberry and plum tones on a long, slow fade. Really a fantastic value. Overall, pretty gnarly dudes!

Nose of licorice, raspberry jam, blueberries and slight vanilla. Rich but enjoyable mouth. Soft, rounded finish, but with enough acidity to keep it going. Comes across as somewhat manufactured with the acids disjoint from the rest of the wine, but delivers well on what one expects.

stellar. earthy, layered deliciousness. Absolutely mature Shiraz but showing so much life. Drank great right from the first pour.
