Popped and poured, and drank over the next four hours. Inky purple in color. Have had this a couple of times and always like it. Dark fruit of plum and raisin on the nose and palate, with good balance and full body. Tanins have mostly resolved themselves with little sourness or acidity. The finish is big and gets me in the nose. Drinking well now, but the big tanins make this one a winner well into the future, depending on how fruity you like your syrah. Wish I could get my hands on a few more. Great value for the price.

Had this many times now, and think it is a great bottle to have on hand. Goes with many different food pairings, or on its own is fine as well. Nicely balanced, full bodied, and meaty. Nice sweet fruit on the mid palate and finish. This is a definite crowd pleaser.

Out of the Merlot, Cabernet and Syrah, the Syrah finished with the most impressive notes. Silky smooth tannins, finish. Complexity of the tobacco, dark red fruits and the acidity make this a long lasting syrah. While Syrah isn't in fashion right now this one is well worth the value and taste profile compared with Shafer Relentless for example.

Popped and poured. Still drinking so well. Great cost performance. Wish this wasn't my last bottle.
