Deep ruby color with little bricking, fruit has faded with more noticeable oak. Definitely on the back side of life. If you have in your cellar, time to drink up.

Day 1: Poured immediately upon opening. Deep ruby color leads to somewhat muted nose. The palate is disjointed with a tannin laden 30 second finish. On day one this is enjoyable but nothing special.
Day 2: Nose sings of graphite and currant. The body is now well integrated with currant, red fruit, cedar, and a hint of vanilla. The finish is now smooth and long. What a difference a day makes; this is great. I will not open another bottles for 5 years.
