This needs to settle down a bit more. The typically forthright Penfolds oak is all too evident at present but it has the makings of a good Aussie-styled Tempranillo with time. Tar and chocolate mix with cherry, raspberry, christmas cake spices and hint of cedar. Full bodied, mouth coating. No prisoners taken.
