Still drinkable and savory. Balanced and together. Depending on how you would define "peak" one might call it past peak, but I did not mind. The wine is settled down, but is not getting more complex.

Actually did improve over the last 3 years. Light brick to the edges, nose has plum, cola , some forest floor. The body has plum, some forest floor; the tannins are resolved with enough acid to add freshness. Good finish. Will appeal to the traditionalist.

More like a good to better typical Burgundy than Oregon pinot. Tart with an almost imperceptible sweetness to balance it. Moderate density color. Tannins are fairly soft after 8 years. Good intensity from the acid, overall good balance. While I've had better Ken Wrights all of them have been good and this one is certainly nice enough for those who like the traditional Burgundy village style.

Fresh acidity and matured fruit. Would drink sooner rather than later.
