Holiday lunch with many magnums (Black Salt): Also served alongside the Bouchard 2008 and the Jadot 2009, this was a bit of a disappointment as it lacked the intensity and depth one should get from a grand cru of this calibre.

Zachys Robin Hood 2010 Wine Tasting (La venue, NYC): More fruit than the grebes. Raspberry, cherry, and strawberry. Almos tasted like America oak, but I know it can't be... Late tingle on med plus finish.

A lost Friday afternoon gathering – 96 Krug mag, 99 Fourrier CSJ, blind CDB flight and etc. (Blacksalt, Washington DC): Strangely pinesap, mostly black fruit, caramel and earth. Excellent concentration, packed black fruit, chewy, bright acidity, a hint of tannins and a medium long finish. The sap note dominates. This was served double blind but Amy mentions 2008 and grand crus. My guess is from an average producer/possibly a negociant wine.
