Straw hued and medium bodied, the L'ecole No. 41 Columbia Valley Chardonnay has a nose of green apple and oak. Creamy in the mouth with tastes of citrus and golden delicious, lively acidity really enlivens this wine. The finish has oak and some more citrus and satisfying length. Nicely balanced and well constructed.

Apple and a slash of sweet oak. This is easy and almost interesting, but from an oak standpoint, not fruit, which is disappointing to me, as I'm not an oak fan. That said, its not excessively oaky, so if you're not a total oakaphobe, this is probably ok for you.
