Demure, modest wild berry intertwined with ground coffee, tea leaves and plump black berries best describes this respectable, interesting red that's nimble, understated, and priced right. Captured by the aromas of fresh picked blueberries, and an inky deep color, this Lake County Petite Sirah works while making dinner, versatile with food and to serve on the fly for guests. A well made wine where all the hearty flavors are wrapped in firm, coarse mouthcoating tannins. The finish is simple, with a zest of white pepper. Drink now and through 2013

Certainly pleasant at the price ($11.00). A bit too fruity for my taste at first but improved after a little air time.

A decent PS, needed air, nice body, a bit of spice, jammy and tannic; not soft. Would buy again for $7.49.
