This was quite something last night. Decanted for 2hrs, very good balance appearance, delicious red fruit forward profile, nicely rounded and mellowed from age, with a little bit of pyrazine action and spices. CS 55%, M16%, Car 10%, PV 13%, CF 6%. 14.5% alc. Enjoyed it better that previous bottle, liked the sheer drinkability of it.

Decanted few hours prior. Expressive red fruits, more on the fruity side but with impeccable balance, juicy and lifted. Impressed with the age-ability.

In a good place right now. Cellared it for about 10 years. Needs 1-2 hours of air and still opened up a little more in the glass. Nice, full bodied left bank style Bordeaux blend with dark, pretty fruit dominant. Very dry but not oaky. Terrior and eucalyptus on nose and pallet. A little more simple than a bordeaux or bolgheri super. Jay Miller over rated this wine but Wine Spectator under rated it and showing a lot of life past 2011. Nice wine to try if never had before but have better favorites in this price category.

Dr. Tom, THANK you for the 4th time your generosity has allowed me to taste a Seña, the other 3 having been the '04! :)
N: Pyrazines init, RIPE boys coming forward with swirling, also notes of toast
P: Med body; Rndish entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt met by a bit of astringent pucker which fairly seamlessly pretty much works itself out by the LONG, BALANCED finish with an elegant tangy/swtness to the few, firming, dusty tannins. Drinking VERY nicely, & I can see this going well with food probably through '24. My EXC/EXC+.
