WOW, WOW, WOW!! Absolutely outstanding, one of the top 3 wines that I have ever had. I thought this would be hard to live up to the hype but surpassed my very high expectations. Started out nice and chewy and was very smooth after a 3 hour decant. Opened up with a 2013 Opus, 2010 Pontet Canet, 2000 Figeac, 1986 Ridge Monte Bello. was by far the winner from all 5 tasters.

Unreal Syrah. Still amazingly young. Stunningly pure. Smoky. Elevated acidity. Quite exceptional.

ESTG does American Syrah (and Petite Sirah) (Seattle, WA, USA): Big, polished, endlessly deep, long, definite sweetness. Just massive. Years to go.
