Wonderfully ripe, fresh red berry fruit along with some blackberry, cassis, and sweet oak on the nose. It's got that bright, vibrant lush fruit for 2007 but has nice tannin and acid to back it up, offering a layered, tasty wine. Currant, cassis, and crushed fresh red raspberry, strawberry and blackberry fruit with oak spice and vanilla accents.

Classic Cali Cab. On the nose, dark fruit (blackberry), wet soil, leather, clove, and cinnamon. 'Round' palate...flavors of vanilla and bright cherry, along with a touch of tartness. Well-integrated tannins, lovely acidity throughout. Long finish. Medium-to-full bodied. Paired perfectly with beef meatballs & ragu sauce.
