Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 92 points

  • Bought in 2009 and brought up from the cellar to celebrate the confirmation of our oldest son. The colour is intense yellow, not bordering on brown at all. In the nose a variety of flowers, spices and berries presents it self: dill, grape, lemon zest and hints of petroleum. In the mouth very balanced and mid+ lenght. The wine has got a firm acidic backbone carrying the experience forward. No hurry at all to drink up. This wine is completely ready and will stay this way for at least five more years. I think we have underestimated Mosel 2007.
