At 13, this wine sits in a nice place now. A bit muted on the nose but resolved tanins with hints of mint and dark fruit on the palate. Nice smooth mouthfeel. Not complex but pretty complete for aged entry level Cab. Happy with QPR.

Notes from day 2. Sweetly perfumed, with cassis, sweet vanilla oak and oddly, a roasted meat component. Silky mouthfeel with a nice creaminess. Flavors of cassis, vanilla, and some spicy oak. Really tasty stuff and miles better on day 2 than yesterday where it was somewhat disjointed, even after a couple hours in the decanter. If you have some, I'd continue to hold another year or two to see what evolves. Drink 2016-2020

Nice wine, but took several hours to open up. Slightly hot and chunky at first but the heat blew off over the evening. Cassis, black cherry, tobacco. Finished with sour cherry pie. I'd let this one sit longer to knit together more.

(Saviah Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Walla Walla Valley) Lightly aromatic with floral notes, herbal notes, licorice, bittersweet chocolate, and fresh cherries sprinkled with earth. The palate is silky and seductive, seamlessly put together with chocolate and cherry flavors accented by soft, polished tannins. A long, lingering finish. A very pretty expression of Cabernet. Pepper Bridge, Bacchus, and McClellan Estate vineyards. Aged 20 months in French oak (50% new). 14.1% alcohol. 735 cases produced. Sample provided by winery.

Really well balanced now. Structured still, with a decent amount of red fruit.

Chocolatey, with some flare at the start. And a long pallette. Very dark color. It is a meaty wine. Very very nice.
