I was surprised by this wine, having just tasted the Montrachet, which was very disappointing. It had a lovely yellow color, with a bouquet and flavor that combined minerality at the beginning, with that wonderful finish typical of great white Burgundies, a mix of crème brulee and toast. If it had a bit better balance and smoothness, I would have rated it higher.

Wine with an impressive nose, but to much oak in my point of view. Fat and full bodied, lots of minerality and impressive after taste. Consumed it with some cabillaud, potatoes with lemon and blushed with butter and truffles. Great combination! Drink now or at max an other 2 years.

Fully mature and pleasing. Good structure. Fruit has evolved to become a complex mixture including apricots, persimmons, oak and spices.

Straw color. Green apple in the nose. Green apple, lemon custard, and a yeasty, slightly toasted finish.

Straw colored. Green apple and white flower nose. Bright acidity with apple and peach fruit and a toasty rich, though only intermediate finish.
