If you are one of the people who still have one of the roughly 145 bottles of this go ahead and drink it. Definitely past it’s prime. Thin. Without the power of most CdP.

I had a previous bottle about two years ago and it was much better at that time... The color is still nice ruby with very thin whitish rim. Opens with mostly bouquet of earth, wood, leaves, mushrooms and spices. Just a tiny aroma of fruits and flowers at the beginning. After being opened for one hour - most of the fruits disappeared almost completely. On the palate - same tertiary taste/aroma of oak and earth, nice acidity, very silky tannin, smooth. Food friendly with medium finish. I think this wine is a bit over the peak now, still nice, but will not improve in the future.

45 min decant and poured through a vinturri. Last tasted 2012. Medium+ ruby-garnet in appearance. Has a nose of provencal green herbs, dark brambly red fruits, hints of spice. The palate is detecting leathery red fruits, some dark cassis, and black olives; has a pretty nice length as well; somewhat smooth. Tannins are almost non-existent. I think this is drinking well now with some air.

At P&P, lots of leather, wet forest floor on the nose, dark fruit on the palate, very smooth mouth feel. wish I had more
