This had a really spicy liquorice note on the nose. Very soft tannins beautiful fruity on the palate a balanced alcohol. Long finish. Whilst I didn't decant this wine I did use an aerator which I'm sure improved it in rhe glass. Drinking very well and in no way passed its best. Would probably be fine for another couple of years ar least stored properly.

This is drinking beautifully right now, and it is probably at peak. Incredible depth and richness; with charcuterie, blueberry, sanguinity, and black earth dominating. Bracing mid palate, excellent structure, imposing finish.

Nose: Surprisingly complex with ripe plum, cherry, jammy rasberry, strawberry. violet and ......liquorice ??.. Not bad.....not bad at all !
Palate: Oups a bit of a let down here. Light fruit, good acidity but no tannins.Almost burgundian in lightness and freshness but not in complexity ! Cherry, rasberry, white strawberry with a green pepper finale. Can't say I like this. It is too light and even a bit flat. good light fruit however !
Voila !

Very nice sangiovese, definately drink now, no need to hold or cellar. Tannins in great balance. Available at Assaggi restaurant in Amsterdam, at 40 Euro good price/performance for this wine (compared with other 40 Euro wines in Amsterdam restaurants).
