Tasting in South Africa; 9/14/2011-9/15/2011: 40% of this wine was fermented in new French oak – the rest was fermented in tank. The wine didn’t see any malolactic fermentation. The nose is fresh and beautiful -- lemon rind, lemon curd, sweet lime juice. A surprisingly short finish, but otherwise, a delight.
