  Decanted 2 hrs. Ruby red, edge paling. Large bq w dark berries, lavender, tobacco, plums. Very fine grained tannins, high acidity, rich Grenache fruit. Medium aftertaste w some alcohol, elegant. Probably at its peak now. It reminded us a bit of a Priorat (old Grenache, high alcohol).

  Classic CNdP. Still drinking very well. One bottle left. I will not hesitate to drink it because I have had two or three CNdPs over the last ten years go south very quickly.

  Has matured to an excellent state -- this was the third of the three that we purchased ten years ago -- all three were excellent, but this is in a very nice drinking window right now.
