  Very good merlot, that will rival most Cabs. Great color. Lots of dark berries come through, but in a very smooth fashion. Very good when opened, but gets smoother after 30-60 minutes.

  This wine has Medium tannins, dark berry notes, light finish. Overall great with and without food. We enjoyed with sausage and veggie risotto. Very food friendly, strong enough to hold up to the sausage flavor.

  Decanted for about 1.5 hours. Cinnamon and nutmeg cut through the fruit upon first smell and continued to linger with me. Smooth black cherry taste with the vanilla and oak balancing out the finish. Overall, a nicely balanced wine with low acidity. Drink now or hold onto for a little while longer.
