Time is up need to drink up. I really liked this wine when i bought them. Still like it . Wonderful depth of the fruit. Something about the two hands from 2004 and 2005 that i like more than others.

Not over-the-top. Still big on the food side. Not a lot of complexity but an easy drinker. Some angularity on the back end. Tenza bit rough but appreciable not overpowering. Went well with Mediterranean food. Not sure if this is going to change much for the better in the future.

14.5% alc; Deep- brick red with garnet. Plenty of ripe and overripe berries: Damson, forest fruits, wet raisins, warm earth, baked pottery, red clay - with that tertiary overlay. Fairly intense wine, with a fleshy, rich texture, sweet underbelly, full bodied and generous. Broad mid palate that is mouth filling, weighty but with plenty to it: stewed fruits abound, wet raisins, blackberry compote, underbrush, some menthol. Long luxuriant finish with resolved tannins with plenty of complexity and structural integrity, very sweet fruit but perhaps fading a little.

Excellent. Lush and plummy, but deep and elegant - not overly sweet and jammy as many shirazes are. Just delightful.
