ChTR kokous 04.05.2011 (SKO-toimisto): Decanted for an hour, tasted double blind. A really dark inky purple-red. The nose was oozing with quality, tons of blackberry and oak and ink, dark dark aromas. The palate was really hard, like being whacked with an oak 4 x4, lots of tannins, lots of dark fruit and toffeeish oak brooding in the background. Yes, you could immediately identify that this was a well-made wine, but whether it tickles your fancy depends on your tastes. For me it was a bit too much. But there is definitely lots of potential for this to calm down into a very nice wine in 4-5 years. Stick it in the cellar and forget it for a while if you have it!
