In my cellar since release. Decanted for several me visible fine sediment. As it poured it was noticeably bricked. In the glass with some aggressive swirling it got significantly more ruby red though it still had a brick edge. The nose and palate were still pretty vibrant with cherry, roses, menthol, baking spices and bright acidity. Velvety soft texture. There is a slightly “old” nature about this bottle nevertheless. Just a little VA and a slightly bitter edge to the otherwise long and tasty finish. Still fine on day 2 just corked on the counter. Probably a bit oxidized compared to the previous bottle.

All American Chardonnay Tasting (New Jersey, USA): PnP then tasted over several hours. Bright mineral and acid structure. Good texture and mineral undertones, followed by strawberry and cranberry fruit. Long and captivating on the finish. Certainly in the drinking window but nowhere near needing to drink up. Should keep for a long time with proper storage but also drinking well now. Very well balanced and energetic.

A remarkably appealing Oregon Pinot Noir, made in an outlying style. Poured double-blind for friends, alongside a same vintage Penner Ash Pas de Nom, who thought it was likely of some place other than Oregon. Chock full of sous-bois and umami goodness, well balanced, gripping, and long. Great wine!

Drink up, definitely on the down slope. Muted flavors, but still well balanced.

Ruby in color with weakening edges. Pepper on the nose with a hint of strawberry. Palate is lush and silky with good acid. Finish is lasting but lean.
