  • Brass color with a slight twinkle to it. The nose has a strong cantalope aroma to it with hints of mushroom, dark raspberries and fresh cut grass. Incredibly sensuous and silky in the mouth with medium acidity and a slight acrid finish that put me off a bit in the beginning. However, once the wine opened up a bit, the bitterness settled allowing a buttery flavor to come forth. Flavors of dark blood red orange, mushroom and melon on the palate. Has a nice gentle lingering finish. Interestingly, I prefered this wine with food than without. At this point, i consider it a food wine and not a sipping wine. 4

  • Honey gold with a light, light, light sparkle. Honey comb, mushroom, musk melon(strong), almost like the part closet to the rind, super fresh plum, with a light greeness to it, all show on the nose. Soft in the mouth with a medium to strong acid and a slight bitter dry finish that reveals yet more fruit. Dry to the bone with flavors that follow the nose but lend a cream like nature to all of them. Rich mushroom hits the back of the mouth while the fruit stays in the mid-palate and front. Really an incredible white wine from an unknown region.
