  (tasted blind) fairly modern in styling. Bright rich cherry accented by a notable dose of oak, leading to a slight cherry cola impression, with just a touch of meaty earth funk. This lead me to wonder about the possibility of RRV or Carneros Pinot in a bit more reserved style, but for burgundy this is a bit bombastic. Palate is a bit strange, lacking in structure. Where are the tannins? finishes a bit bitter and short, pretty nose however. While this seems atypical for burgundy I think the overall quality is deserving of 90 points, sheerly for pleasure today.

  Medium to light burgundy. Nose giving some red fruit - cranberry, red cherry - and a little bit of dirt. Mouth feel is on the thin side with a medium mid palate and not a very long finish. Some red fruit.... This one needs time - maybe another three at least.
