Very nice Bourgogne level Arlot. Black tea leaf, red zinger, raspberry and dried leaves on the nose. Red fruit with a flavored iced tea quality and a spicy finish. Not especially complex but good flavors and decent enough weight. Back in the day when this went for about $24 this was a pretty good deal. Nowadays at $38 or so it would be a stretch.

Sappy and nearly juicy especially by Arlot standards. Not terribly complex, in fact finishes a bit short with some drying tannins. Still a nice, forward bottle of Arlot that provides a lot of up front fruit. Probably drinking as well as it ever will at this point. This was a great deal when purchased at less than $25 per (be interested to see if they make an '05 and what that will go for). Wish I had cases of this for everyday consumption of a ready to go every day Burg.

Drinking nicely, has a velvet texture to it, a touch of fruit and showing some secondary characteristics.
