Paid $50 at auction a year earlier. Cork. Good ullage. Deep yellow colour. Started at cellar temperature (13C), decanted 1 hour at room temp, then consumed over another hour. Definitely improved with time but reached a peak after the first hour. It is past it’s drinking peak but is still very enjoyable. 91 points today. Was probably 95-97 points 5-7years ago. At $50 I’d buy another one.

had my last bottle last night alongside Ata Range Craighill Chardonnay 2008 , both very similar , still drinking surberbly , still pale straw colour should hold for a couple more years, one of the last years under cork , I think they changed over in 2004 to screw caps

not much on the nose but backs up with a nice soft buttery finish. quite a delicate Chardonnay and probably at its peak.
