Really hot for about half an hour, but at 16.9%, that wasn't terribly shocking. Went well alongside hanger steak and salmon, and opened up quite a bit after about an hour. Memory definitely served from the TR (when it was purchased), and it was intriguing enough to make me want to give it another try. Could see another year or two serving it well.
Alcohol on the nose, a lot tannins on the tongue, not much fruit in there. Very little structure, may have need a few more years, but don't even know if that would have helped. Decanted an hour before serving and that didn't even help it.
