This is obviously better than previously tasting a year+ ago. Tannins are resolving and this is drinking well straight from the bottle. Medium bodied. Bordeaux style with a tart quality and a stoney finish. Lots of minerals and comes across like a low alcohol wine.
ChTR kokous 18.3.2015 (SKO-toimisto): Decanted. This was a rather dark purplish wine with some browning becoming evident. The nose was a blast of cassis, tons of black fruit, and quite a bit of toasty vanilla, very California, but very enticing. The palate had lots of tannins and lots of cassis, full-bodied, big, bold and delicious. An excellent wine in its genre, I enjoyed it!
Great blend of red and black fruits; palate is medium to full bodied, integrated tannins, nice texture; medium finish. Very nice and balanced overall, but there are better vintages of this bottling (the 2010 and 2012 come to mind). 89-90
