After 30 minutes the nose opens up expressing pear, apple, florals, and some vanilla and even a hint of baking spice. Mouth is punchy with oak and alcohol but not obscuring some nice bosc pear and white flowers. Acid is strong. Finish is long but a bit stringent; if it wasn't for this stringency I would give this 87 points. Shows some decent bones. Like the Capture chardonnay I was expecting a bit more. Might just need some time to settle down. I'll check back in 6 months or so.
