Lost in the back of a double bin, from cellar. At 55 degrees it had some nice floral notes and lots of oak. In the mouth, oak dominated. Nice acid balance. As it warmed up, more complexity in the nose- lemon, citrus, and a hint of vanilla? More buttery as it warmed/opened up. Decently long finish. Less oak and it would have scored higher.

"Wines We Covet" (The Primes): Not my usual preferred style for chardonnay, but you have to admit that as an example of an oaky/buttery California Chard, this is pretty good. I could have used a bit more acid to balance out the oak, but there was sufficient complexity to make my small glassful interesting on every sip.

Lots and lots of oak, which still needs years to resolve. Hold.

Tasty. Classic, buttery, oaky Calif Chardonnay. I didn't think the wine was overoaked like some others and I'm sensitive to oak. Very nice.

This is very well balanced, with the oak integrating nicely. Butterscotch, lemon curd, on a lush frame tinged with mineral and a long finish.
