This pinot is unlike most California and even Oregon PN, restrained elegant fruit, plum, raspberry, cherry, cinnamon, cloves. The finish is medium long, with some heat and a burnt spicy wood quality which adds to the complexity. I would call this Burgindian style that is holding up quite well!
60 min decant- full bodied, in fact, can't recall a fuller bodied pinot, not fully integrated but a couple of years away from prime, a touch of heat on the tail end which should go away in 4 plus years, some spice box ok finish. Great wine. Average value.
