4th Saturday Group brown bagger (Our house): As soon as I got my nose to the glass I knew this was our Cameron Clos Electrique. Aromas of bacon fat, cherry and currants. The wonderful "Cameron funk" is there too, though it's rather restrained here. Cherry, meat and pepper flavors on the palate with a medium+ finish. Love this stuff. Will likely hold for another year or two at this level.

3.5 Tart cherry and tarragon on the nose. Age clearly showing, though also not dead. Intriguing and delightful, but lacking a core to hold the components together compellingly. 91 points.

Decanted off large amount of fine sediment. Brilliant dark red color with medium transparency. Aromas of brett. on the horse/animal end of the spectrum. With that is black cherry, tea, and some sous bois elements. The palate on this wine somehow keeps the brett. in check enough to land on the good side of the line for me. Black cherry, strawberry, leather, horse, and earth elements all work on a well-integrated spine of tannin and acid. The finish is medium-long. Superb. Drink or hold.

Cherries and recruit notes with terrific meaty, bacon overtones. Cherry, underbrush and red fruit flavors with an underlying meaty quality there as well. Others thought the acidity a bit too sharp, but I did not think so.

What a delicious wine. I may have liked it more than most, but there was some buzz about this one. Pale in color. The nose is dusty cherries. Lots of funk going on. Complex and layered on the palate. very feminine. Long finish. Great balance. This was a wow!
