I'm sad that I'm down to my last bottle. I understand that 2008 was not such a good year, but for me, that means this wine is at it's best right now-don't have to wait 10 years. Nutty, good acid, nice body, great QPR.

Delicious. Very ripe in keeping with the vintage. Had a couple weeks back without detailed notes. Palate was full of flesh with rich notes of honey and almond. Full but not overwhelming the wine also had lively acidity. A really nice wine for this level and price.

Domino's Birthday Dinner (The Brentwood Restaurant & Wine Bistro, Little River, SC): Purchased off the wine list for $59.00. Yellow color. Notes of almond, mineral, orchard fruit, stone, beeswax and lemon oil. Medium-bodied, with flavors of lemon oil, orchard fruit and stone; develops a wool note as it opens. Lovely.

Pretty straight ahead Meursault. Works at $35, a little bit more lemon zesty than I remember. A bit more chiseled.
