  Vin agréable mais sans relief non plus.
  L'équilibre est là, mais il n'y a rien de notable non plus.
  Arômes un peu evanescents.
  Serait-il trop jeune?

  Late July Bday celebration at Maison Dakota. Aired in bottle for 30 mins before drinking. Drank in Grassl Cru.
  Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of toasty sweet spices, minty menthol, dark red cherries, black cherries. Developing.
  On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol (13.5%%), smooth medium+ tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of glossy black cherries, dark red cherries, minty menthol, spiced wood, sweet earth. Long finish.
  Very good quality. Polished dark modern style with good dollop of oak. Ripe vintage of a cooler plot, kinda balances out. Good future over the next 5-6 years.

  Very dry, austere and a bit inside out at the moment, I thought this would still have some baby fat, but no. Red currant, sour cherries, raspberries, coffe beans toffee and some dusty chalky notes on the palate. Great structure with fine grained tannins and high acid. The oak is a bit prominent right now, but i´m sure this will turn out really nice as it clearly has a very complex core of fruit underneath.
