Clear and bright, pale lemon colour and presence of legs. The nose is clean and fully developed, showing medium intensity aromas of yeasts, green olives, almonds, lemon peel and hints of leather. It's dry in the mouth with a low acidity, low alcohol (for a fortified), medium- body and medium intensity flavours of green olives, almonds, yeasts and hints of leather. Medium finish. It's a very good quality wine with a decent concentration, finish and complexity provided by some tertiary aromas, however it should have even more concentration and complexity to be really outstanding. Drink now, not suitable for ageing.
Better as it warmed up. Nose of barrel, sea shells, nuts, rubber cement, butterscotch. Nuts, salt, vanilla on the palate. Tangy acidity. Good finish. This one grew on me as the night went on. Chilled, it was a bit too light for most food.

(NV Lustau Puerto Fino) A very pale colour, as Fino is protected from the effects of oxidation by the mat of flor that floats on the surface of the wine. Good flor character on the nose, with some tangy mineral and cashew nut character. Seems quite elegant. On the palate, rounded, very dry and very clean. Good flor, tangy and a spicy note on the midpalate which persists through the finish.
