A good friendly bottle, too bad about the price hikes in recent vintages. Now, at five hours open, this is a real beauty: melon, just a hint of nuts, rich fruit, some tagines, lengthy finish. The nut concerns me - maybe just a touch too rich causing early ox? But hey, its five hours open.

Who-woa! Right in a beautiful place -- stoney minerality, notes of tropical fruit, touches of older age and waxiness yet still very primary. Right in the pocket for drinking. Great to have these '09 BBs come around so quickly.

In this case very nice saline nose, with a verbena, and yellow plum and nectarine notes. A bit of a Chablis like oyster shell nuance. Very nice with even some floral elements working in. Complex. On taste very round and good intensity. A waxy element and verbena coming through. Good balance with the acidity and a very nice sappy mineral finish. Too good and too pricey to be a house wine.

Delicious. Leaner and more smokey and mineral than I remember. Perhaps the primary fruit is heading towards the background.

Tasted alongside Roulot's Bourgogne Blanc. Here more voluptious and round, giving and delicious. Not overdone, just right in the pocket.
