Well balanced, but somewhat muted flavors. Aroma does show prominent attractive fruit. I like this wine for drinking by itself; it is somewhat tenuous with food.

It may be that the hour was late, my palate abused, but I wasn't able to taste much of this after the first glass. It was a bit tannic in the end, but reasonably fruity. I think it would have held up well to the food we had (wood-grilled burgers), but we consumed this after dinner and I think it just wasn't the right time for it. Nevertheless, for about $6.50 a bottle, it performed admirably.

Most disappointing to say the least as I've enjoyed previous vintages very much. Tart berry flavors and other red fruits. Screw-capped and no other signs of faults. Heat damaged?

Found this in my cellar well past drink date, but held up quite well. Nice light Grenache, better on it's own than with food.

First sip was a bit hard and hot. Little dirty, little tannic, but cleaned up and drank like the <$10 Rhone wine it is.
