  Opened last night. No notes, but was quite good. Will try the other half of the bottle tonight.
  
  Spicy red fruits on the nose; a touch of cinnamon. Slightly alcoholic, modestly acidic syrah. Good raspberry fruit, some spices. Nice quaffer. Has a few more years in it.

  Dark, purple/red. Slightly alcoholic on the nose. Blackberries, black raspberries, a little leathery. On the acidic side, with firm tannins partly integrated. Not as big or fruit-forward as I would have guessed. Could probably use another year or two. Nice but not thrilling.
