Very good wine and it still is drinking well. Probably at its peak now and won’t get much better, but I think it still has a few years left before it declines. Solid fruit and enough tannin to hold everything together. We popped and poured over dinner that lasted about 2 hours. The wine improved in the glass and was quite good after sitting in the glass. I’d suggest a 1-2 hour decant as ideal timing. Also, there was tons of sediment so a decant would be highly recommended.

Found this in the celler. Bought at Tasting on Main before they went out of business. Very pleseant surprise. Dark purple color. Smooth and classy with fresh berry tastes and smells.

delicious elegant smooth but with high acidity balanced ageworthy. tops at B.Dalton's tasting. Wine Spectator has never scored this higher than a 92 which means they are nuts.

Great. Still plenty of fruit, and that distinctive Stag's Leap briary note, but smoothed out with the patina of age. Not washed out at all.

Wonderful Stags Leap Cab. Bold and full flavored. The fruit pours forth supported by mellowing tannins and winding up with a long, lush finish.
