Very much loaded with tart fruits- sour cherry, lively raspberry, and without a doubt sappy, this wine exhibits impressive power. It is currently showing well and nicely balanced but I think that ten more years might allow it to develop complexity and really strut its stuff. I opened it too soon assuming a skeptical attitude and while I’d rather drink it too young than too old, I think I underestimated it.

Entering an awake phase though certainly not aged enough for secondary profiles to come through. This was, as someone said previously, drinking like an average 1er cru. Fortunately the price matched. Good, but hold.

Found this to be a very even Burgundy. Not too much oak, and not very ripe. Had good earth undertones and a familiar cranberry/cherry fruit profile. Texture was light to mid-weight, and while the finish wasn't short it was unimpressive. Drank more like an average 1er, perhaps a bit shut down at the moment.

In a great drinking phase now. Very complex with lots of red fruit and sous bois mixed with umami flavors.
