Nose: Clean nose with a Medium + intensity. This wine is developing.
What an interesting nose! Cooked lemon is prominent and layered over dried white flowers. The notes are all slightly honeyed but there is a counter-point of flinty minerality and even a slight touch of oregano. Absolutely lovely!
Palate: Dry Medium+ acidity Medium alcohol Medium+ intensity Medium- body Medium finish
Slightly lighter in body than expected. Very similar notes to the nose but with less complexity. The acidity is still fresh although fading and the minerality takes over very pleasantly on the finish. This is the first time I've tried Torrontes with bottle age and I have to say; I'm a fan!
Excellent quality Torrontes from Salta, Argentina. Drink now as the acidity will likely only benefit the wine for another year. At 10 euros a bottle, excellent QPR.

It needs some 30-40 minutes in the glass to wake up (and warm up a bit from fridge temperature). Floral nose, tropical fruits. Hints of jasmine, guava, lychee, and perhaps carambula. I can't see it's creamy; feels light (well, it's too light for a baked salmon; we'll try it tomorrow with a sea bass). Medium-long citrusy, somewhat bitter finish (grapefruit?). The element of novelty for this grape makes this a slightly more enjoyable experience (86, feels like 87-88). It's nice, but I won't buy it again. BTW, it's not very good on the second day - the interesting fruit/floral notes are gone (a more generous reviewer would probably still say something about refreshing minerality). Drink now.

Straw-green color. Straightforward nose of citrus, some grass (but not unpleasant) notes over a thin layer of mint scented oak. High acidity, clean citrus flavors, medium concentration, medium aftertaste of a citrus, lemon leaves, pine apple and tea. A bit of a difficult wine there, it will definately need foor to cover some of the acidity.

More of a lighter Torrontes than I've had before, but still a good patio sipper with light citrus tones with a bit of grass hints mixed in. Goes well with seafood and pasta.

Purchased at Virginia Costco, drank night of. Very good, tastes oaked even though it is unoaked. Very creamy, paired well with spicey food. Standard Torrontes fruity smell without the fruity taste.
