  Very good example of a matyring grand cru wine grom gevrey. Lovely earthy flavors with just enough fruit. Very good with our dinner..lovely acidity

  Very good grand cru quality in Gevrey Chambertin style. At peak drinking perid but still have good drinking years ahead. Impressive honey and earth aroma. intence flavor with smooth texture. Nice long finish. However it could not match the elegancy and class with the other two great bottles, 2000 Clos de Tart and 1998 Leroy Clos de Vougeot having the same night.

  This is powerful but very elegant at the same time helped by a nice refreshing mineral aspect. Not a lot of fruit (cherry and some darker) but mainly tertiary flavors with some fresh licorice. Very long finish with firm tannins kicking back.
  Great wine, a true Grand Cru.
